CAN’s
Yellow and Blue Ribbon
Yellow is colour of Disability.
Blue is the colour of Rights of people with disability.
Ali Baquer was the founder and President of CAN and had worked in the field of disability for more than 40 years of his life. His passion for the cause and issues of disability was steady and firm till the end. He worked tirelessly for empowering the disabled and generating awareness about their needs, requirements and rights at both National and International levels.

The members of CAN have decided to organize an annual ‘Ali Baquer Memorial Lecture Series on Disability’ to commemorate his contributions in the field of Disability. Our aim is to start this Lecture series from 2009 on his birthday, the 18th of May funded by the interest generated from CAN’s Corpus Fund.

To enable CAN in this venture please donate to CAN’s corpus, so that this dream becomes a reality.
